Hello to all existing patients, future patients, and those interested in theproducts and supplements that we supply. We are brand new to Face Book and Twitter, any one interested is welcome to sign up as friends or fans. We plan on posting supplement specials, clinic news, and important wellness research studies. We have finally realized that the best way to reach people near and far with the valuable information and products that we have access to is through the long arm of the internet. We are confident that everyone will benefit from the studies that we will be posting and updating regularly. Dr. Charles Redford owned a clinic and practiced for 6 years in Bellingham. He was born and raised in the Skagit Valley. The deteriorating health of his father led Chuck to close up shop in Bellingham and look for a practice closer to his father’s home here in Burlington. Dr. Kitzman and Dr. Redford had been friends since 2000, and as fate would have it SRC’s other Doctors were leaving right when Dr. Redford was returning to Skagit County.
 Dr. Redford was introduced to chiropractic after 18 years of working in the construction industry. He specialized in dry walling, which reeked havoc on his lower back. The relief that chiropractic offered to him led Dr. Redford to pursue a new career. He returned to school in 1993 and after fast tracking his Doctorate at Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic he graduated in 1999.
Dr. Redford enjoys playing with his grand children, traveling, and chocolate. Dr. Redford has a lot of history here in our valley and we are happy to think that much of his future will be spent taking care of patients here at Skagit River Chiropractic. |

Dr. Justin Broe grew-up in the great Midwest and has always had a keen interest in healthcare and well-being. This led him directly to a career in biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln (UNL) in 2001.
During his studies at UNL he worked as a pharmacy technician where he acquired many insights into healthcare. After graduation he spent two years in pharmaceutical research before his decision to attend chiropractic school in 2004. His past experiences allowed him to build a wealth of knowledge in the latest research in nutritional physiology, biomechanical physiology and body metabolisms.
Dr. Broe pursued his education as a chiropractor at Palmer College of Chiropratic in Davenport, Iowa. Palmer College is widely known to be the fountainhead of the chiropractic profession and allowed Dr. Broe to learn, experience, and demonstrate comprehensive chiropractic techniques from the best of the best instructors. Dr. Broe believes strongly that the body can heal itself and chiropractic care allows this innate power to flow freely throughout the nervous system and generate well-being along with a healthy lifestyle. He implements low force adjusting procedures including Palmer package techniques and the latest researched procedures of flexion/distraction and atlas orthogonal adjusting. As a result, whether you are a weekend warrior or marathon runner, or dealing with an injury or simply want pain relief, Dr. Broe has the clinical skills and background to personalize care for you.
Dr. Broe can’t think of a better place to live and work than the Pacific Northwest. Due to his outdoor enthusiasm, he will certainly enjoy fishing, skiing, cycling and camping--just to name a few. He has recently joined the staff of Skagit River Chiropractic and is now offering his professional services to the greater Skagit County. |

More and more people are opting for less traditional modes of medical care.Some people still think of Chiropractic as a no traditional method of medical care. However Chiropractic has grown in popularity and acceptance among patients and medical practitioners alike.
Some Chiropractor will treat neck and back problems and injuries, and some people continue to see their Chiropractor for these reasons only. Many more people, however, view their Chiropractor as their primary health provider. These Chiropractors provide comprehensive physical care for their patients beyond treatment of back and neck problems and injuries.
Many people prefer Chiropractic over more traditional medical care because by its very nature, Chiropractic is more of a "hands on" method of health care. The Chiropractor will manually touch, massage and manipulate your spine and related muscles and tissues to achieve maximum alignment and healthy interaction. Chiropractors tend to look at the whole picture and treat your symptoms based on a larger view of what is going on with your body and overall health. Chiropractors are not licensed to dispense prescription medications, and many patients prefer this more natural approach to healing. On the other hand, your Chiropractor will refer you to a medical practitioner in the event he diagnosis a condition for which you require treatment or medications outside of the scope of Chiropractic. |
